The expectations of behaviour at Churchgate School fit within the five outcomes of Every Child Matters. Our expectations reflect the overall positive approach we have in our school towards all aspects of the child's learning and development.
Our aim is to provide an ethos and environment in which children can develop and learn.
To achieve the above aim there is a need for all to understand that each child has certain rights at school and therefore there will be certain rules. Adults will support the children’s understanding that it is the behaviour that is unacceptable, not the child.
